Job Summary
In this role as a Word and PDF Expert supporting AI Training and evaluation initiatives, you will apply your expertise in document management, formatting, review, and workflow optimization to help improve next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world document processing and analysis tasks.
This is an hourly-paid contract opportunity, not a traditional full-time document management or administrative position. Contributors will work on project-based AI training tasks while collaborating remotely with distributed teams in a flexible work environment. No prior AI experience is required — your domain expertise is what matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive document review, editing, and formatting in Microsoft Word and PDF environments while ensuring adherence to professional standards.
• Contribute to AI training and evaluation projects through document analysis, response evaluation, workflow review, and related tasks.
• Manage tracked changes, comments, markup, and version control across large and complex documents.
• Create, edit, and maintain dynamic forms, templates, and structured document workflows.
• Execute accurate data extraction, consolidation, and validation from Word and PDF documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and confidential document solutions.
• Support legal, regulatory, compliance, healthcare, academic, finance, or policy-related document workflows.
• Provide guidance on advanced Word and PDF best practices, document standards, and process improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience working extensively with Microsoft Word and PDF tools.
• Advanced proficiency in document formatting, tracked changes, reviews, markup, version control, and document management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Master’s degree, PhD, JD, or equivalent advanced degree in a related field such as law, healthcare, academia, public policy, finance, or similar disciplines.
• Experience supporting Fortune 500 organizations or similarly complex and highly regulated environments.
• Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive materials with discretion and professionalism.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with commitment to high-quality deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in specialized fields such as legal operations, healthcare administration, academic research, government consulting, finance, compliance, or real estate operations.
• Advanced proficiency with PDF features including form creation, digital signatures, document security, and workflow automation.
• Portfolio demonstrating delivery of complex, high-impact Word and PDF projects.
• Familiarity with AI model evaluation or AI training-related document analysis tasks is a plus.
