Systems Engineer / Requirements Engineer-REMOTE

<b>Job Description</b>Job Description<p>Advanced Automation Corporation (AAC) is looking for a Systems Engineer to join an already high-performing team. The candidate is expected to be familiar with the System Engineering Life Cycle, with significant expertise in requirements management. The primary role will be to elicit, collect, develop, and migrate system and sub-system level requirements to support a large-scale enterprise system.</p><p>The successful candidate will:<br></p><ul><li>Establish specific, reliable, and testable requirements that lend themselves to independent validation and verification and/or perform the independent validation/verification</li><li>Migrate requirements, and traceable relationships, from documents or other requirements management software to DOORS Next, a requirements management tool</li><li>Develop interface requirements that consistently document the dependencies adopted by various parties responsible for implementing a system/sub-system</li><li>Establish, coordinate, and/or participate in technical reviews</li><li>Work seamlessly with engineers of various disciplines</li><li>Have familiarity with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management tools, or similar tool sets</li></ul><p></p><p>This position is full-time remote on a 4-month contract, with a potential for contract extension. </p><p><b>Requirements</b></p><p><b>Minimum Qualifications and Skills:</b></p><ul><li>A Bachelor of Science (BS) in an Engineering Discipline</li></ul><ul><li>US citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance</li><li>Strong communication skills and able to use common desktop productivity tools including MS Office</li><li>An ability to work both in a team or independently as required</li><li>Extensive knowledge of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle</li><li>10 years of prior related work experience in Systems Engineering and/or Requirements Engineering</li></ul><p><b>Benefits</b></p><ul><li>Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)</li><li>Retirement Plan - 401k</li><li>Employer Paid Life Insurance (Basic)</li><li>FSA (Flexible Spending Account)</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Paid Sick Leave</li><li>Paid Holidays Off</li><li>AFLAC (Supplementary Insurance)</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li><li>Work From Home </li></ul><p></p><p><b>EEO Statement</b></p><p>Advanced Automation Corporation is an equal-opportunity employer.
