Records and Information Governance (RIG) is a UW Medicine department in ERHI. As required by RCW 40.14, RIG is responsible for managing records in all formats that are created and received by UW Medicine in compliance with laws and regulations relating to the preservation and destruction of public records.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONSCertified as an Accredited Record Technician (ART), or Certified Coding Specialist (CSS), or Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) AND two years of applicable experience in records and information governance.ORAn equivalent combination of education and experience.*Candidates should be able to provide references that can verify supervisory experience*UW Medicine - Where your Impact Goes Further
