They are seeking a driven Territory Manager to lead sales growth across Upstate New York and Northeast Pennsylvania, focusing on building relationships and expanding market share in the exterior building products sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, architects, and builders
- Manage and grow existing dealer and distributor partnerships throughout the territory
- Identify and close new business opportunities within residential and light commercial markets
- Drive product specification and market share growth
- Partner with QXO and other wholesale distribution organizations to increase sales and visibility
- Conduct product demonstrations, dealer training programs, and educational events
- Provide pre-sale and post-sale support to customers
- Execute territory plans that deliver measurable revenue growth
- Resolve customer concerns and ensure exceptional customer service
- Participate in sales meetings, trade shows, industry events, and customer presentations
- Maintain accurate account and pipeline information using CRM tools
Skills
- 5+ years of successful outside sales experience in exterior building materials
- Experience selling through wholesale distribution channels, including QXO, building material distributors, lumberyards, dealer networks, or two-step distribution
- Demonstrated success by growing market share and exceeding sales goals
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote, territory-based sales position
- Strong knowledge of residential construction and exterior building products
- Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the territory
- Experience within the window, door, fenestration, siding, roofing, decking, or specialty building products industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field
- Experience managing dealer development programs and contractor relationships
