TechTrans International is a provider of language services and travel logistics, seeking an experienced remote Technical Writer for a contingent opportunity within the United States. In this journeyman-level role, the Technical Writer will perform documentation support functions, including the development and maintenance of program documentation and reports, while ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical writing, editing, and maintenance of program documentation, reports, and official deliverables
- Ensure all written materials are clear, accurate, and aligned with contract requirements to support seamless communication with Government stakeholders
- Coordinate with logistics, sustainment, and contingency operations personnel to gather, organize, and refine complex operational data into standardized formats
- Support the preparation of Program Management Plans, status reports, transition documentation, and other required contract deliverables
- Establish and maintain document templates, style guides, and formatting standards to ensure consistency across all program tasks
Skills
- Must possess and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
- 3 to 10 years of professional experience supporting technical writing, editing, records management, document control, reporting, configuration documentation, and knowledge management activities
- Bachelor's (BA/BS) or Master's (MA/MS) degree
- High School Diploma / GED: 7 years of relevant experience
- Associate's Degree: 6 years of relevant experience
- BA/BS Degree: 4–6 years of relevant experience
- MA/MS Degree: 2 years of relevant experience
- Doctorate Degree: 0 years of experience
- Journeyman personnel are expected to perform all functional duties independently
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), records management certification, administrative professional, travel coordination, or equivalent business operations credentials
