Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amynta Group is seeking a Sr. Manager, Business Compliance at their Hunt Valley, MD location. The role involves developing and managing the compliance program, overseeing audits, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance management program
- Establish an audit framework and update and create compliance policies and procedures
- Monitor and report on compliance performance and program health
- Facilitate and manage vendor, state, and client audits
- Conduct routine compliance risk assessments, business analysis and implement corrective action plans to address identified gaps
- Conduct audits of privacy compliance and security on a quarterly basis
- Ensure vendors meet audit compliance and performance standards
- Analyze contracts to ensure adherence to client requirements and regulatory standards
- Assist in drafting and negotiating contracts and other legal agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies for compliance
- Oversee the organization’s SOC I and II compliance program, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client expectations
- Develop and implement processes to maintain SOC II certification
- Interpret changing regulations, laws, and industry best practices
- Provide guidance on compliance risks associated with current projects and develop mitigation strategies
- Partner with business management and key stakeholders to understand and communicate compliance requirements
- Assist in compliance training for internal departments and organizational leadership
- Respond to state and client inquiries regarding the compliance program and initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or operational quality control
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and simplify complex legal and regulatory information
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience with SOC I and II compliance and related frameworks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including persuasive writing
- Goal-oriented, organized, and effective team player
- Ability to execute duties successfully and with high quality within required timeframes to meet business needs
- Strong understanding of regulations affecting the automotive finance and titling industry preferred
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification
