Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IMCS Group is seeking a detail-oriented Sr HR Data Insights Analyst to join their People Analytics team. This critical role involves transforming workforce data into actionable insights, managing survey platforms, and ensuring data integrity for strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end production of recurring operational reports (e.g., headcount). Ensure data integrity and timeliness for all scheduled deliveries
- Audit, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using Workday Discovery Boards and Looker Studio. Translate complex People data into intuitive, self-service visualizations that stakeholders can navigate easily
- Prepare high-quality slide decks and data summaries for leadership. You will be expected to synthesize complex datasets into clear, concise, and professional presentations that facilitate strategic decision-making
- Act as the technical lead for our survey platform. You will be responsible for light configuration, running regular survey cycles, and working with the vendor on enhancements and tweaks based on stakeholder feedback
- Manage relationship with our survey vendor to ensure deliverables, service-level agreements (SLAs), and technical integrations are meeting organizational needs
- Identify trends, anomalies, or correlations in our people data, providing the 'why' behind the numbers to support business strategies
- Serve as a key contributor during internal and external HR audits. You will be responsible for providing accurate, time-stamped data, maintaining clear documentation of report logic (e.g., data lineage), and ensuring all reporting outputs adhere to data privacy and security standards
- Champion data hygiene. Regularly reconcile data discrepancies between Workday and downstream reporting tools (e.g., Looker) to ensure a 'single source of truth,' minimizing risks during audit cycles
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Human Resources, Finance, or a related quantitative field
- 2–4 years of experience in People Analytics, HR Operations, or a similar data-focused role
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to write or debug code, summarize qualitative survey feedback, or automate repetitive data synthesis tasks
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets: (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, index/match, etc.)
- Proven experience building dashboards in Looker and Workday Discovery Boards
- Expert-level PowerPoint/Google Slides skills—you know how to build a deck that is visually polished, logically sound, and executive-ready
- Familiarity with audit processes. You understand that data accuracy is a compliance requirement, and you prioritize 'defensible data' in every report you build
- Ability to translate complex report logic into readable documentation that explains how a metric was calculated—essential for maintaining clear audit trails
- Experience with SQL (for querying databases directly)
- Experience analyzing unstructured text data using AI/NLP tools
- Deep understanding of HR data structures (Workday HCM data model is a massive plus)
- A 'curiosity gap'—the desire to ask why the data looks the way it does, not just reporting what it says
