Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LHH is a publicly traded, rapidly growing organization seeking a Sr. Accountant, Revenue to join their revenue accounting team. This role involves leading the close process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing insights on revenue trends while offering opportunities for career advancement in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Play a lead role in the monthly and quarterly close process, including reconciliations and financial reporting
- Own key areas of revenue accounting (ASC 606) including data validation, analysis, and reconciliation
- Partner with cross-functional teams to solve complex data and reporting challenges
- Analyze revenue trends and deliver meaningful variance insights to leadership
- Support audit readiness and ensure high-quality documentation and compliance
- Mentor and review work of junior team members, building leadership experience early in your career
Skills
- 2–4+ years of experience in public accounting or publicly traded company that demonstrated rapid growth
- Experience working with public company clients or SEC reporting environments
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets
- Technical aptitude to learn Tier 1 ERP system and advanced reporting tools; such as, Power BI, SQL, etc
- Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Big 4 or national firm strongly preferred
- CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred
