They are seeking a volunteer Social Media Content Creator to create and manage social media content and engage with the audience to promote their mission.

- Creating and curating compelling social media content
- Managing social media accounts
- Engaging with followers to amplify True Crime Story911’s message
- Enhancing audience engagement
- Promoting transparency in true crime storytelling
- Building an online community aligned with the organization's values and mission
Skills
- Experience in Content Creation, Social Media Writing, and Creative Writing
- Skills in Social Media Management, Scheduling, and Engagement Strategies
- Knowledge of Analytics Tools, Audience Insights, and Social Media Trends
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team environment
- Ability to adhere to ethical standards and accurately represent sensitive topics
- Passion for true crime storytelling and social justice issues
- Must be able to work well with others; be a team player
- Must be able to work in teams and independently
- Must be familiar with content creation
- Must be familiar with posting on Facebook, Instagram, Substack, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Must be able to work 10-15 hours per week
- Must be able to attend weekly conference call each Sunday morning
- Familiarity with Visual Content Creation, including graphic design or video editing
- Previous experience in journalism, communications, or digital media
