They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and execute complex federal projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget while maintaining high standards of performance and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Directs integrated DB/EPC project teams from pursuit through close-out to ensure alignment with organizational goals and client expectations
- Coordinates with federal agencies, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to align deliverables and foster collaboration
- Develops and manages project budgets, forecasts costs, and ensures effective resource allocation and utilization
- Ensures full adherence to federal contract requirements (e.g., FAR, DFARS), proactively identifies risks, and implements mitigation strategies
- Develops and maintains comprehensive project schedules, tracking milestones to meet project deadlines and performance objectives
- Leads individual projects while mentoring, supervising, and motivating cross-functional project teams while fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, Quality and safety
- Provides and maintains detailed and timely status reports and project documentation to clients and senior leadership, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making
Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience
- Strong track record overseeing Design-Build (DB) or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) efforts
- Expert knowledge of federal regulations and compliance
- Exceptional leadership capabilities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Accountable for delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget
- Experience managing State, Municipal and Federal government projects
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- PMP, Six Sigma, OSHA 30 or other relevant certifications are a must
- Deep familiarity with federal contracting procedures, compliance frameworks, and procurement standards (FAR, DFARS, 413, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of project management tools such as Kahua, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Active or ability to obtain federal security clearance, and background check as required by project stipulations
- Management and a construction-based degree is preferred
- PMP certification preferred
