Robert Half is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and implementation of a large-scale Revenue Lifecycle Replacement System. The role involves coordinating multiple workstreams, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of the project within the established timeline and budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex Revenue Lifecycle System implementation
- Coordinate activities across internal IT teams, business stakeholders, consultants, and third-party vendors
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Manage multiple project workstreams while ensuring milestones and deliverables remain on schedule
- Present project status updates, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Collaborate with solution architects, technology leaders, and vendors to ensure successful implementation
- Drive project delivery through the full project lifecycle, including planning, procurement, execution, testing, deployment, and transition to operations
- Monitor vendor performance using established metrics and ensure contractual deliverables are met
- Facilitate technical and non-technical issue resolution across cross-functional teams
- Lead requirements gathering, project scoping, estimation, and planning activities
- Ensure compliance with organizational project management governance and best practices
Skills
- 10+ years of Project Management experience leading large enterprise IT initiatives
- Active PMP Certification (PMI) required
- Extensive experience leading projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience managing multiple project workstreams simultaneously
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional business and technical teams
- Strong experience coordinating third-party vendors and system implementation projects
- Experience leading business and IT stakeholders through requirements gathering and solution documentation
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership and technical teams
- Experience leading cloud-hosted SaaS implementation projects
- Experience with Data Modernization and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) initiatives
- Experience managing high-complexity government technology projects
- Experience overseeing procurement activities including RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes
- Experience implementing or replacing Financial Management Systems
- Experience working within highly regulated public sector or government environments
