The role involves installing and configuring databases, particularly Oracle 19c and SAP HANA, and requires extensive experience in database administration.
Responsibilities
- Supporting SAP environments and solid understanding of SAP architecture
- Proficient in managing SAP HANA DB
- Proficient in installing/managing open-source databases primarily MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Strong experience with Oracle Database 19c, including multitenant architecture (CDBs and PDBs)
- Experience installing, configuring, and administering Oracle Data Guard environments
- Experience applying patches across all layers of Oracle Exadata infrastructure
Skills
- A minimum of 15 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)
- Supporting SAP environments and solid understanding of SAP architecture
- Proficient in managing SAP HANA DB
- Proficient in installing/managing open-source databases primarily MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Strong experience with Oracle Database 19c, including multitenant architecture (CDBs and PDBs)
- Experience installing, configuring, and administering Oracle Data Guard environments
