Duke Digital Group is seeking a Senior Legal Media Buyer with a proven track record in scaling performance-driven campaigns in the legal space using Google Search and YouTube. The role involves owning campaign strategy from setup to optimization, focusing on lead quality and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
• Plan, launch, and manage high-volume Google Search and YouTube campaigns for legal lead generation
• Own the full media buying lifecycle, including account structure, keyword strategy, bidding, budgets, and optimization
• Partner with creative and landing page teams to develop and refine ad copy, video concepts, and conversion-focused messaging
• Manage and scale media spend while maintaining efficiency across key performance indicators such as CPA, conversion rate, CTR, and CPC
• Continuously test and iterate on keywords, audiences, creatives, formats, and bidding strategies to improve performance
• Analyze performance trends to identify opportunities for scaling winners and eliminating inefficiencies
• Produce clear, actionable reporting that communicates results, insights, and next steps to internal stakeholders
• Stay current on Google Ads updates, policy changes, and legal advertising best practices
• Proactively identify performance risks and implement optimizations to maintain campaign stability at scale
Skills
• 3+ years of direct response paid media experience, with hands-on ownership of Google Search and YouTube campaigns
• Demonstrated experience running legal advertising campaigns (motor vehicle accidents, personal injury, mass tort, or similar verticals strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of Google Ads mechanics, including Quality Score, match types, bidding models, and conversion tracking
• Experience managing larger budgets and high lead volume campaigns
• Highly analytical with the ability to turn data into clear optimization actions
• Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and contributing strategic input on creative and messaging direction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and reporting tools, with solid Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with call-based lead generation and call tracking platforms
• Familiarity with YouTube direct response and performance video campaigns
• Background working at a legal lead generation company or performance agency
• Experience optimizing toward lead quality and downstream performance, not just front-end metrics
