The Senior Account Director role involves overseeing a portfolio of high-value accounts, providing strategic leadership, managing complex client relationships, and driving business impact. The position also includes leading teams, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering long-term client success.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain executive-level client relationships
- Lead high-level strategic conversations and long-term planning
- Serve as a trusted advisor on business and marketing strategy
- Oversee strategy across multiple accounts, ensuring consistency and performance
- Drive long-term growth and retention across the portfolio
- Identify and act on opportunities for expansion
- Lead and support Account Directors and their teams
- Ensure high standards of performance, communication, and delivery
- Provide coaching and leadership across the organization
- Ensure consistency in processes, workflows, and quality across accounts
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8 to 10 years of experience in digital marketing or client strategy leadership
- Experience managing enterprise-level clients
- Working knowledge of digital marketing channels, including owned media (SEO & GEO), paid media (search, social, and programmatic), Email & SMS, and more
- Agency experience preferred
- Experience working with e-commerce and/or B2B clients is a plus
- Hands-on experience with paid media platforms is strongly preferred
- Experience with tools and ad platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Klaviyo, Meta Ads, ClickUp, etc., is a plus
