[Remote] Sales Data Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. World’s Finest Chocolate is seeking a Sales Data Analyst to support their North American retail sales organization. This role involves transforming raw sales data into actionable insights and driving cross-functional projects from ideation to execution.

Responsibilities

• Build and refresh weekly/monthly Tableau (or Power BI) dashboards tracking: POS velocity, ACV distribution, % promo, share of shelf
• Extract and cleanse data from: Retailer portals (Retail Link, Partners Online, VIP, etc.)
• Maintain trade-spend tracker; calculate ROI, GMROI, and incremental lift for every door-level event
• Lead analytics-driven projects (e.g., new item launch tracking, void closure initiatives, assortment optimization, JBP data room prep)
• Define scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables; run status meetings and drive stakeholder alignment

Skills

• Nielsen/Circana (IRI) Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field
• 2-4 years in CPG sales analytics, revenue growth management, or category management
• Hands-on experience pulling data from retailer portals and syndicated sources (Circana, Nielsen, etc.)
• Proven ability to build dashboards in Tableau or Power BI
• Intermediate Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, index/match); intermediate SQL skills
• 1+ years managing projects end-to-end (charter, timeline, status updates, stakeholder alignment)
• Familiarity with trade promotion management (TPM) tools or TPM ROI models
• Experience with workflow automation or ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power Automate, Zapier, UiPath, or scripting)
• Strong storytelling with data; able to present to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with Smartsheet, Asana, or Microsoft Project
