SCS Engineers is looking for an Air Quality/Environmental Compliance Project Manager to become a long-term asset to their growing practice in the Southwest. The role involves completing technical work, managing client contact, and overseeing project schedules while adhering to quality control standards.
Responsibilities
- Air quality permitting and compliance; greenhouse gas emissions compliance; general regulatory compliance; various permitting for solid waste and industrial facility projects
- Technical work may include air modeling, completing calculations, reviewing compliance issues, preparing permitting documentation, reviewing data, research, and report writing as well as related services
- Work may also include in field activities, such as field meetings on compliance or permitting-related issues
- Client interaction and preparation of proposals will be required on an as needed basis
- Occasional travel may be required
Skills
- Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in Environmental, Chemical, or other related science degree required
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience in air quality, air permitting and/or air compliance required
- Minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience required
- Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required
