Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Project Management Institute is searching for a professional with knowledge of procurement principles and practices. The Procurement Analyst I will work closely with PMI’s Procurement team to evaluate suppliers and manage vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate suppliers and complete basic tasks associated with procurement needs and ongoing vendor management
- Collecting and evaluating critical information regarding vendors
- Understanding costs, sourcing and vetting vendors, and presenting deals to all related approvers and decision-makers
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Procurement or Supply Chain
- Understanding of procurement concepts and processes
- Strong experience with MS Office and basic understanding finance systems
- Understanding of finance business operations
- Experience in an agile and dynamic project-focused environment, with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship building skills, delivering information in a clear and user-friendly manner
- Adept at gathering and presenting relevant details for escalations
- MS Dynamics and Concur preferred
