Reqroute, Inc is seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead – Palantir Data Engineer to serve as the technical authority for an enterprise-scale data and analytics platform built on the Palantir Foundry ecosystem. This role involves providing technical leadership for a team of Data Engineers, collaborating with stakeholders to transform business requirements into high-quality enterprise data products.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for the enterprise data platform
- Lead architecture discussions and technical design reviews across Foundry applications, data pipelines, ontology objects, and enterprise data products
- Translate business requirements, user stories, and epics into scalable technical designs and implementation plans
- Partner with Product Delivery Leads to evaluate solution feasibility, technical dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines
- Define and enforce engineering standards, coding best practices, testing strategies, and deployment processes
- Maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, and decision records
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data solutions using Palantir Foundry
- Build scalable Medallion Architecture data pipelines (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
- Develop robust ingestion, transformation, validation, historization, monitoring, and orchestration frameworks
- Design ontology-driven data models, dimensional models, fact and dimension tables, and reusable governed data products
- Integrate enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, Finance, Marketing, Operational, and third-party systems
- Ensure platform reliability through data quality, lineage, observability, security, and performance optimization
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 3–5 Data Engineers
- Conduct architecture reviews, design sessions, and code reviews
- Establish engineering best practices and development standards
- Review vendor and contractor deliverables for technical quality and maintainability
- Support technical growth and career development of engineering team members
- Build and maintain Foundry Workshop applications and operational dashboards
- Develop front-end components using React and JavaScript when required
- Collaborate with business users to deliver intuitive analytical and operational applications
- Support enterprise data governance initiatives, RBAC, metadata management, and documentation standards
- Define testing, validation, monitoring, and operational support processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and reduce technical debt across the platform
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience as a Technical Lead, Lead Data Engineer, Solution Architect, or similar leadership role
- Strong hands-on expertise with: Palantir Foundry, Foundry Pipeline Builder, PySpark, Python, SQL, Git/GitHub
- Experience designing and implementing Medallion Architecture data platforms
- Strong understanding of data modeling, historization, dimensional modeling, and governed data products
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Proven experience conducting architecture reviews, code reviews, and implementing engineering best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Foundry Ontology, Workshop, Operational Applications, and Data Lineage
- Palantir Foundry Certification(s)
- Experience integrating ERP, CRM, POS, Reservation, Finance, or Operational systems
- Experience supporting enterprise analytics, finance, operations, or revenue management initiatives
- Industry experience within Hospitality, Marinas, Real Estate, Retail, or other asset-intensive organizations is highly desirable
