Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. StorX Solutions is seeking a results-driven National Sales Manager to lead business development efforts across North America. The role involves identifying, developing, and managing key customer relationships while driving revenue growth in the material handling and warehouse automation industries.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities nationwide
- Identify warehouse expansion, retrofit, and automation projects
- Build relationships with warehouse executives, operations leaders, facility managers, and engineering teams
- Generate opportunities through networking, referrals, trade shows, LinkedIn, and strategic partnerships
- Develop long-term relationships with 3PLs, manufacturers, food & beverage companies, retail distribution centers, cold storage operators, and logistics providers
- Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting through project award
- Conduct customer site visits and operational assessments
- Coordinate conceptual layouts with engineering and estimating teams
- Present proposals and lead customer presentations
- Negotiate contracts and close profitable projects
- Maintain accurate forecasting within CRM
- Grow existing national accounts
- Develop annual account plans
- Identify additional opportunities within current customers
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure customer success
- Maintain expertise in: Pallet Racking Systems, ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems), Conveyor Systems, Sortation Systems, Warehouse Automation, Robotics, Cold Storage Solutions, Rack Supported Buildings, Warehouse Expansion Projects
- Work closely with: Engineering, Operations, Estimating, Project Management, Installation Teams, Vendor Partners, Automation Integrators
Skills
- 5+ years of Material Handling sales experience
- Material Handling Industry experience preferred
- Proven success selling capital equipment or warehouse solutions
- Experience managing large sales territories
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to travel as needed
