Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. American Iron & Metal (AIM) is a family-owned company and recognized global leader in the metal recycling industry. The National Account Manager will drive AIM Honeycomb's national growth strategy by expanding the supplier network and strengthening market presence across the U.S.
Responsibilities
- You will develop, negotiate, and secure long-term purchasing agreements, toll refining contracts, and strategic supply partnerships that drive volume, margin, and profitability
- You will drive national sourcing initiatives focused on automotive and related catalyst or precious metal-bearing materials
- You will prospect, develop, and convert new supplier relationships while expanding existing accounts
- You will lead bids, structure competitive tolling agreements, and negotiate pricing strategies
- You will conduct regular onsite visits to supplier locations, including auto recyclers, auto dismantlers, scrap processors, and industrial accounts throughout the U.S
- You will develop territory and account growth plans through routine face-to-face engagement and proactive account development
- You will strengthen supplier trust through transparency, consistent communication, and consistent relationship management
- You will represent AIM Honeycomb at tradeshows, conferences, and supplier visits to expand market share
- You will analyze market and competitor trends to optimize pricing, margins, and growth strategy
- You will collaborate closely with operations, logistics, administration, and finance to ensure seamless commercial execution
- You will leverage supplier feedback and field intelligence to drive continuous improvement in commercial performance, service offerings, and supplier satisfaction
- You will use and leverage CRM, analytics, and market intelligence to manage pipeline activity, forecast supply volumes, identify growth opportunities, and drive commercial performance
- You will serve as the primary commercial representative for AIM Honeycomb within assigned national accounts and strategic supplier relationships
Skills
- 5+ years of B2B sales, national account management, or business development experience
- Proven track record in prospecting, developing, and growing strategic or national accounts
- Demonstrated success negotiating commercial agreements and driving revenue growth
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable operating independently in a remote and field-based role
- Willingness to travel nationally up to 60%
- High proficiency with CRM tools and ability to leverage data and analytics to drive growth
- Ability to identify opportunities, build pipelines, and convert prospects into long-term partnerships
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in automotive, metals, recycling, or related industries
