Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Livingston and Haven is seeking a Mechatronics Account Manager responsible for managing and expanding strategic customer accounts. This role focuses on building long-term partnerships through consultative selling and driving sustainable revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Promote automation products and solutions to generate new business
- Identify opportunities to expand product and solution usage within existing customers
- Collaborate with Automation Specialists to deliver tailored solutions
- Drive strategic account planning, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations
- Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM updates and account planning
- Work within the Livingston & Haven framework and business philosophies, while providing an entrepreneurial approach to growing your business
Skills
- Minimum Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with a degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business or related field; or 3-5 years of experience in industrial, automation, or technical sales with machine builder, OEM, or end user customer; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong prospecting and lead generation skills
- Proven ability to grow and manage customer relationships
- Strong technical understanding of industrial automation systems
- Strategic thinking and value-based selling skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
- Energetic, self-driven and goal oriented
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to travel within the region
- Strong understanding of industrial automation systems (PLCs, motion control, robotics, vision, mechatronics, sensors)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and engage multiple decision-makers
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and business planning capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Highly organized and able to work independently
- Strong customer orientation and problem-solving skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to drive and possess a valid driver's license
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Business
- Additional related training preferred and experience with complex solution selling and value-based sales strategy
