The Mechanical Engineer supports mechanical systems design and oversight for a large-scale data center development program, contributing to the mechanical engineering scope of a high-priority power infrastructure program.
Responsibilities
- Support mechanical engineering activities across active data center construction and commissioning phases
- Contribute to the design, review, and oversight of fuel storage and fuel system components
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment submittals for accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate with cross-functional project teams including electrical, civil, and construction disciplines
- Support field engineering activities and provide technical guidance as needed
- Perform additional mechanical engineering duties as assigned
Skills
- Engineering background with experience in mechanical systems in an industrial, power generation, or data center environment
- Hands-on experience with fuel tanks or fuel storage systems — design, installation, inspection, or operational oversight
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment specifications
- Strong communication and coordination skills in a fast-paced project environment
- Experience working on large-scale construction or EPC projects preferred
