SEW-EURODRIVE is a global leader in drive technology and a premier manufacturer of gear reducers, electric motors, variable frequency drives, and motion control solutions for industrial applications. They are seeking a sales professional to promote and sell Heavy Industry Gearing products, develop customer relationships, and provide technical sales support within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by promoting and selling SEW-EURODRIVE Heavy Industry Gearing products and solutions within the assigned territory
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with existing and prospective customers, distributors, OEMs, and end users to grow business opportunities
- Provide technical sales support and product expertise by recommending solutions, conducting product training, and supporting customers throughout the sales process
- Develop, qualify, and manage sales opportunities by identifying new business, implementing sales strategies, and using CRM to manage customer interactions and sales activities
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to conduct face-to-face customer visits, attend meetings, tradeshows, and training while representing SEW-EURODRIVE professionally
Skills
- Must reside in or willing to relocate to the Rocky Mountain Territory which includes Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Washington, Idaho, and Utah (Phoenix, Denver, and Salt Lake City areas are preferred)
- Must have experience with and/or knowledge of gear reducers and electric motors
- Must have a valid Driver's License and driving record satisfactory to SEW-EURODRIVE or otherwise be able to transport yourself to and from various locations, including customer facilities, to engage in diverse business activities
- Must be eligible and authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing indefinite basis
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must have strong mathematical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Must be able to travel and frequently visit customers
- Associate degree in mechanical engineering or another related field
- Five years of Outside Sales experience
