Harvey Nash is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to support the Department for Public Health on the Rural Health Transformation Plan. The role involves leading large-scale healthcare technology initiatives to improve healthcare infrastructure across rural communities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of large-scale IT projects
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, and executive leadership
- Facilitate project status meetings, steering committees, and executive briefings
- Oversee vendor performance, contracts, procurement, and deliverables
- Manage UAT, release planning, production deployments, and post-implementation support
- Ensure compliance with SDLC, project governance, and organizational standards
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of IT Project Management experience
- Experience managing Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid projects
- Strong experience with project planning, budgeting, risk management, and vendor management
- Experience with BRDs, Functional Requirements, User Stories, Use Cases, and UAT
- Experience using Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Healthcare or Public Health project experience
- State Government experience
- Digital Transformation initiatives
- SaaS/Cloud implementation projects
- Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) experience
