Smith Davis Insurance, a leader in the industry, is currently seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role is pivotal in ensuring commercial clients receive exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions, managing a portfolio of accounts and helping drive customer success.
Responsibilities
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are effectively managed
- Client Consultation: Provide expert advice and guidance to clients, tailoring insurance plans to meet their specific requirements
- Policy Administration: Oversee the administration of commercial insurance policies, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to industry standards
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve client inquiries and issues promptly, delivering excellent customer service
- Renewals and Retention: Proactively manage policy renewals and work to retain client accounts through skilled negotiation and relationship building
- Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters and support staff to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery
Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service or account management, preferably within the insurance industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client inquiries and issues effectively
- Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple accounts and tasks
- Comfortable using CRM software and other common communication tools
- Ability to work effectively from home and manage tasks independently
- A degree in a relevant field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered
- Active Nebraska P&C insurance license is preferred
