They are seeking a Business Development Representative to generate leads and drive new business, focusing on building relationships with restaurant owners and supporting the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Generate qualified leads and new business through cold calling, texting, email, and social outreach
- Reengage passive and cold leads and bring them back into the sales process
- Run clear, consistent communication through the full nurture cycle in close partnership with your Account Executive
- Qualify prospects and confirm they are a strong fit for Sous Chef and OneTablet
- Sharpen our outbound playbook by sharing what is working in the field and what is not
- Learn continuously alongside the sales team, sales leaders, and cross-functional partners
- Exceed your quota, then look for ways to help your teammates and the company win
Skills
- 2+ years of software sales experience, preferably in SMB SaaS
- A consistent track record of meeting and beating your goals
- A confident communicator with strong persuasion skills and a persistent, resourceful approach
- A customer-first mindset, with real commitment to understanding what each restaurant owner needs
- A focus on building long-term relationships over short-term wins
- A curious, self-improving mindset, with genuine interest in the restaurant and delivery space
- Grit, competitiveness, and resilience in a fast-moving environment
- Experience with restaurants or small businesses, whether selling to them or working in them, is a strong plus
