Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lojistic is a shipping spend management platform helping businesses reduce costs through analytics, automation, and intelligence. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and guiding prospects through their challenges in shipping spend management.
Responsibilities
- Building and refining your daily playbook that outlines the activities that reliably turn into booked meetings
- Using tools like Salesforce and Gong to track progress and hit your quota
- Leading creative outbound prospecting via email, video, phone, social, and text
- Hitting and exceeding weekly/monthly metrics (activities, meetings set, qualified leads, etc.)
- Deepening your understanding of buying personas and their specific pain points
- Staying current on industry news, carrier pricing trends, and market dynamics that affect prospective clients
- Joining team huddles to celebrate wins, share insights, and discuss challenges
- Participating in weekly 1:1s with the Director of Sales
- Support trade show business development initiatives through pre-event attendee outreach, meeting scheduling, attendee list management, and post-event follow-up to generate and advance sales opportunities
- Identifying, qualifying, and independently closing eligible sales opportunities within established sales guidelines, providing the opportunity to gain full-cycle sales experience
- Executing with consistency, professionalism, and accountability
