The role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records while collaborating with the finance team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Prepare and post journal entries as needed
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audit purposes
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and reporting
- Perform ad hoc projects assigned
- Support special projects and initiatives within the finance department
Skills

- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standards affecting financial reporting and analysis
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Minimum 2 year degree, accounting, finance, business or similar
