They are seeking a technically-minded Account Manager to cover the Midwest region, focusing on building long-term partnerships and solving formulation challenges for clients.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary bridge between our product innovations and the customer’s formulation needs
- Maintain and grow relationships with key manufacturers within the coatings space
- Troubleshoot formulation challenges for clients by recommending the appropriate specialty additives from our range
- Use your technical background to identify industry trends and help our R&D team develop products that solve "real-world" coatings problems
- Transition your technical expertise into a commercial strategy, managing pricing, contracts, and territory growth
Skills
- Deep-rooted background in the Paint or Coatings industry
- 2+ years in Technical Sales
- Understand the 'how and why' of coatings—specifically how additives affect performance, stability, and application
- Problem-solver who enjoys explaining technical solutions
- Ready to transition into a role focused on building long-term industry partnerships
- A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related Material Science is a plus
