YouLand is a technology-enabled private lender founded in 2016, specializing in providing flexible capital solutions for real estate investors and developers. The Account Executive role focuses on building relationships with clients, guiding them through the loan process, and ensuring a smooth experience from application to closing.
Responsibilities
- Field inbound inquiries and run independent outreach to build a steady pipeline of investors, brokers, and developers looking for fix-and-flip, bridge, construction, and DSCR financing
- Get to know each borrower’s project and goals, then walk them through the loan options that actually fit—not just the easiest one to sell
- Own the deal from application to closing: assist in collecting the right documents up front, set expectations on terms and timing, and keep the borrower in the loop at every step
- Work hand-in-hand with underwriting, processing, and capital markets to clear conditions quickly and keep deals on track to fund
- Stay on top of several active files at once, anticipating what each one needs next so nothing stalls
- Build repeat business by being the account executive borrowers and brokers want to come back to—reliable, responsive, and straight with them about what we can and can’t do
- Track pipeline and activity in our CRM, and use the AI tools we’ve built into origination to move faster than a typical bank or broker shop
Skills
- Two-plus years in sales, with a track record of hitting targets—mortgage, private lending, or real estate is a strong plus, but we'll consider sharp salespeople from outside the industry who can learn fast
- Comfortable on the phone and over email all day, and genuinely good at building rapport and earning trust quickly
- Organized and self-directed—able to run a full pipeline without someone checking in, and reliable about following through
- A quick study on loan products and underwriting basics, able to speak credibly with experienced investors and brokers
- Bachelor's degree preferred
