Job Title: Red Hat System Administrator
Location: Remote
Summary: Seeking a Red Hat System Administrator to perform complex system administration tasks, manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments, and contribute to technical deliverables while developing innovative solutions with a high degree of independence.
Responsibilities:
Understand and use essential tools for handling files, directories, command-line environments, and documentation.
Operate running systems, including booting into different run levels, identifying processes, starting and stopping virtual machines, and controlling services.
Configure local storage using partitions and logical volumes.
Create and configure file systems and file system attributes, including permissions, encryption, access control lists, and network file systems.
Deploy, configure, and maintain systems, including software installation, updates, and core services.
Manage users and groups, including the use of a centralized directory for authentication.
Manage security, including basic firewall and SELinux configuration.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with 5–7 years of relevant experience.
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification.
Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
