Overview

Through its Access to Medicines Program, CMMB partners with pharmaceutical companies, medical supply manufacturers, NGOs, and health facilities to deliver high-quality medicines and medical supplies to underserved health facilities across more than 40 countries. These health commodities, both donated product (i.e.. Gift-in-Kind products provided by manufacturers) and purchased product, address critical medicine shortages and improve access to safe, effective treatment for populations in low-resource settings.

The Program Director for the Global NCD Impact Initiative (NCDI) provides strategic and operational oversight for CMMB’s expanding rollout with partners across Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. The role leads the onboarding, implementation, monitoring, and scale-up of the global program which focuses on improving access to essential medicines and strengthening health systems for care and management of chronic conditions (e.g. hypertension, diabetes, respiratory illness, sickle cell, etc.).

Working closely with implementing partners, local stakeholders (including Ministries of Health, health associations and organizations), donors, researchers and internal teams, the Program Manager provides support and translates learnings to ensure program quality, compliance and impact across countries. The role combines technical leadership, partnership management, program oversight, and cross-country coordination to bring the program to scale globally.

The pay for this role starts at $108,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
