Probabilistic Risk Assessment Engineer

Westinghouse Electric Company is dedicated to providing clean energy solutions, and they are seeking an entry-level Probabilistic Risk Assessment Engineer to perform risk assessments for nuclear power plants. The role involves evaluating plant vulnerabilities, managing databases, conducting data analysis, and collaborating with global teams and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Assess domestic and international operating plants, and new reactors in design phase
• Review plant operating procedures, system/layout documents like piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and cable routes to understand plant systems and operation
• Database management and data analysis tasks using a variety of tools
• Present technical topics and interface with global customers and regulatory bodies
• Partner w/ global project teams contributing to technical scope, execution, meetings and financial goals

Skills

• 0+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Nuclear
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Desire to earn Professional Engineer in Training (EIT) license
• 10% travel availability to domestic or international customer sites
