  • Involvedinstrategicplanninganddecision-makingfor datascienceinitiatives.

  • Independentlycreatedeckstomakehighlytechnicalpredictionsrelatableto theautomotiveindustry

  • Documentationofmachinelearning processes

  • Deepexpertiseinadvancedfeatureengineeringand AI/ML modelbuilding.

  • Expert in SQL,Python/R, Advanced Excel, AWSSageMaker,PalantirDataScienceIntegrationsorotherMachine Learningframeworks.

  • Collaboratecloselywithtechnologyandengineeringteamstoimproveexistingprocesses andbuildoutnewones

  • Workwiththeproductteam todeveloptheanalyticsthatwill powernewproducts

  • Leads PI (ProgramIncrement)planningforactivitiesto beconductedin thenextquarter,withlimitedsupervision, for majordevelopmentalmodules orprojects.

  • Createvisual reports inTableauforinternalandexternalclientsthatsummarizefindings

  • Teamenvironmentthatencouragesthesharingofideastobuildthe bestpredictivealgorithms

  • Ad-hoc dataanalysisandreporting

QualificationsofthisRole:

  • Abilitytocommunicatetechnical processes to a layaudience

  • Presentationexperience

  • Curiosityandpassionforsolvingproblemswithdata

  • 8+yearsof professionalexperienceworkingwithlargedatasets

  • 8+yearsof professionalexperiencewithstatisticalprogrammingsoftware (Spark,Pythonpreferred)

  • 8+yearsof professionalexperiencewithdatabasesoftware (RedShift,Hive, SQL, MYSQL)

  • Master’sDegreeinStatistics, DataScience,Economics, or arelatedfield

  • NicetoHave:

  • Experiencewithautomotivemarketdata

  • Professionalexpertisedeployingcloud-basedMLOpssystems

  • ExperienceworkingwithAWStools(Sagemaker,Glue,Batch,Lamdba…)

TheHiringManagersays:

Growas a full-stackdatascientistin amedium-sizedteam.Youwillpipelinedata,buildmodels,deploythemin thecloud, andbuildmonitoringsuites.

Thispositionhas astartingsalaryrangeof$130K - $150K CAD / $155K - $195K USDperyear.Thisis therangewereasonablyand ingoodfaithexpecttopayfor theroleatthetimeofposting. Anemployee’spaywithintherangeisdeterminedbyanumberof factors,includingrelevantskills,education,qualifications,experience, performance,businessororganizationalneeds, andgeographiclocation.
