Job Description: Network Engineer – IT
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in networking technologies, certifications such as CCNA or CCNP, and a strong understanding of Cisco products. This role demands a proactive individual capable of maintaining, improving, and troubleshooting complex network systems while adhering to the highest standards of reliability and security.
Key Responsibilities
· Administer and support on-premises IT infrastructure across data center locations, including servers, virtualization platforms, and networking components.
· Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco collaboration platforms including Cisco Meeting Server (CMS), Cisco Meetings Management (CMM), and VQ Conference Manager (VQCM).
· Configure and manage Cisco and Pfsense firewalls and switches to ensure robust network security.
· Manage VMware ESXi hosts and virtual machines supporting production and testing workloads.
· Administer and maintain virtualization platforms like Proxmox.
· Configure and maintain secure network connectivity, including IPsec VPN tunnels to cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
· Set up and manage remote network access solutions such as Cisco-any connect and Perimeter81.
· Provide technical support for Azure/O365 and cloud infrastructure.
· Maintain and troubleshoot Windows machines and Active Directory / LDAP environments.
· Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve complex collaboration-related incidents
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party service providers to improve service quality and reliability.
Required Qualifications
· CCNA or CCNP certification.
· Hands‑on experience managing VMware ESXi virtualization environments.
· Practical experience supporting Cisco collaboration technologies, including CMS, CMM, VQCM, and Expressway components.
· Strong understanding of on-premises infrastructure, including servers, networking, and data center operations.
· Experience with Pfsense firewalls and dell switches.
· Knowledge of virtualization technologies like Proxmox.
· Understanding of remote access solutions such as Perimeter81 and Anyconnect
· Basic knowledge on Azure/O365 and cloud infrastructures.
· Proficiency in managing and supporting Windows machines.
· Familiarity with IT support workflows and ticketing systems.
· Strong documentation skills with the ability to clearly explain technical architectures and configurations.
