Summary
Messangi is looking for an IT & Cybersecurity Risk Analyst. This position aims to strengthen organizational security posture, and support strategic cybersecurity objectives and managing any tech risks across a corporate environment. Working with cross-functional teams (Infrastructure, Networking, Support, and Cyber), ensuring robust control implementation and proactive vulnerability management
Responsibilities
- Perform and monitor vulnerability analysis of the technological infrastructure
- Design, implement, and measure internal security policies and standards
- Participate in architecture reviews and security controls.
- Engage in security operations activities, including incident detection, investigation, containment, and remediation.
- Perform alert analysis, security monitoring, and operational troubleshooting
- Contribute to the documentation of procedures, standards, and security controls
- Establish security-by-design practices and review integrations to ensure access control and data protection.
- Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) activities and security compliance efforts.
- Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and recommend solutions to enhance security posture.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate security requirements into system development and operational processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or certification in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Networking, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, security platform administration, incident response, and alert analysis.
- Conversational english (B2)
- Experience with cybersecurity with a focus on cloud security and the ability to translate standards into technical solutions.
- Technical knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), networks and communication protocols, and security tools
- Solid experience in identity controls, encryption, and application protection, as well as sound judgment in risk management and architectural decision-making.
- Experience conducting security assessments and risk analyses.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Certifications in information security and proven experience in cloud security projects
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Fast learner and be able to solve problems independently,
