Saicom is looking for an Investment Analyst (Crypto / Web3 / DeFi) to help evaluate opportunities across digital assets, Web3 infrastructure, DeFi ecosystems, and emerging market themes.
This role is for someone who can think like an investor, research like an analyst, and stay close enough to the market to understand where real conviction is forming.

What you would focus on
You would research and evaluate opportunities across crypto, Web3, DeFi, infrastructure, and adjacent digital asset markets.
That may include:
analyzing protocols, projects, sectors, and market narratives
building investment theses around digital asset themes
tracking DeFi activity, liquidity, incentives, and protocol traction
evaluating token ecosystems, business models, adoption signals, and competitive positioning
monitoring wallet behavior, custody trends, self-custody adoption, and market trust signals
preparing investment memos, market notes, diligence summaries, and opportunity maps
identifying emerging sectors across infrastructure, payments, stablecoins, staking, custody, and on-chain finance
translating technical and market developments into clear strategic insight
This is a role for someone who enjoys asking:
What is underpriced?

What makes someone strong in this role
The strongest candidates are not just “crypto interested.”
They are intellectually honest, market-aware, and comfortable forming a view before the market gives them permission.
You should be able to move between macro context, protocol-level research, user behavior, token incentives, liquidity, adoption, and risk. You do not need to know everything, but you should know how to investigate, compare, challenge assumptions, and explain your reasoning clearly.
You understand that in digital assets, custody, trust, user behavior, and liquidity often matter as much as the technology itself.
What we’re looking for
You should bring:
3+ years of experience in investment analysis, research, market analysis, venture, strategy, consulting, financial analysis, or adjacent analytical roles
strong understanding of crypto, Web3, DeFi, digital asset markets, or emerging financial infrastructure
ability to evaluate projects, protocols, sectors, and market opportunities with structured thinking
experience preparing investment memos, research notes, market briefs, diligence summaries, or strategic analysis
comfort working with incomplete information and fast-changing market conditions
strong written communication and ability to turn complexity into clear judgment
curiosity about token ecosystems, market structure, user behavior, and adoption signals
Experience in crypto funds, venture capital, DeFi research, fintech, financial services, consulting, trading, market intelligence, or investment research is highly valued.
