Job Summary:
This role requires a strong understanding of IMS DBA principles and practices, as well as the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage project delivery from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely reporting and communication of project status.
• Utilize strong IMS DBA knowledge to guide technical decisions and ensure database integrity and performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
• Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Implement best practices in project management and delivery, continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards, as well as industry regulations.
Mandatory Skills:
• Strong knowledge and experience in IMS DBA, including database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions and technologies.
• Knowledge of additional database management systems beyond IMS.
• Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant technical certifications.
