Job Summary:
Delta Airlines is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Operations Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity. As an integral part of the HR operations team, you will play a key role in providing administrative support, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and contributing to the overall efficiency of HR processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Support HR operations by managing employee data and maintaining HR records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process HR-related transactions, including but not limited to, benefits administration, payroll, employee onboarding, and offboarding.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports, metrics, and presentations for management.
- Coordinate and manage HR compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and company regulations.
- Provide general administrative support to HR leadership and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth HR operations.
- Assist with employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Support recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and processing candidate paperwork.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Manage HRIS (Human Resource Information System) updates and ensure accuracy of employee records.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations, administration, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR-related software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Understanding of HR compliance, labor laws, and regulations.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in HR operations or a similar administrative support role.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, etc.) preferred.
- Experience in benefits administration, payroll processing, and employee relations.
Working Hours:
- Full-time position.
- Flexibility to work from home with occasional meetings and collaboration with the HR team.
- Standard working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Eastern Time), Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime based on business needs.

- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, practices, and procedures.
- Familiarity with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate reports.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
