This is a remote position.
We're looking for a resourceful, proactive HR Coordinator to join our team on a part-time or contract basis, with hours ranging from 10 to 30 per week depending on workload. Currently the role is temporary for 3-months, but has the potential to grow in scope and hours over time and possibility to become permanent.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, where you will help support day-to-day HR operations across client engagements, with a strong emphasis on recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, payroll coordination, labor law compliance, and employee relations.
Preferred time zone: Mountain Time. Central or Pacific also considered.Requirements
What You'll Do
Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding workflows, including coordinating in platforms like Deel, Gusto, Rippling, and Bill.comSupport payroll processing, timesheet and compensation updates, documentation, and benefits administrationAssist with multi-state HR compliance — researching requirements, maintaining documentation, and flagging riskDraft, update, and maintain various HR policies, including employee handbooksCoordinate recruiting support including job postings, candidate communication, initial interviews, and offer letter preparationMaintain accurate employee records and HR documentation across Google WorkspaceCommunicate professionally via Slack and support day-to-day HR requests from client teamsHandle employee relations issues with professionalism, applying conflict management techniques to resolve concerns effectively while fostering a positive work environmentWhat We're Looking For (Key Qualifications)
2–5 years of HR experienceResourceful self-starter who can figure things out, ask the right questions, and execute with minimal hand-holdingExtremely detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to catch even small discrepancies, recall process requirements, and identify potential risksHands-on experience with payroll platforms — Gusto, Rippling, Deel, or similarFamiliarity with multi-state employment complianceExperience supporting or managing onboarding/offboarding processesExposure to employee handbook development or HR policy writingComfortable working in Google Workspace and Slack dailyExcellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and clear dissemination of HR policiesStrong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, contract management, and record keepingAbility to adapt to change management initiatives while maintaining focus on strategic human resources objectives.Discretion and professionalism as you'll be working with sensitive employee data across multiple organizationsNice to Have (Bonus)
Experience supporting a consulting firm, staffing agency, or multi-client environmentUse of AI tools such as Claude, Perplexity, and ChatGPT as well as othersExperience with various ATS tools as well as any of the following: Trainual, Avoma, Employee Navigator, HubSpot, Zoom, Ramp, Ninety, Fountain, Loxo, Airtable, Supabase, AircallProject management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
