• Drafting award nominations
• Ghostwriting thought leadership
• Contributing to larger content initiatives

• Collaborating closely with lawyers to refine and finalize content
• Editing award nominations, thought leadership, and publications
• Building and managing project timelines
• Assigning articles in collaboration with the managing editor
• Tracking progress across multiple contributors
• Maintaining version control and file organization
• Providing weekly status updates to clients
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in the legal profession—either as legal reporters and/or in-house in writing/comms roles at law firms
• Strong journalistic approach to storytelling
• Comfortable working with law firm partners and firm leadership
• Experience writing across corporate practice areas
• Deep understanding of the legal industry
• Experience copyediting legal-facing content
• Strong AP style knowledge
• Ability to adapt to client-specific styles
• Detail-oriented project manager
• Experience in managing project timelines and collaborating with editors
