To support a virtual-first healthcare organization, the full-time Florida Licensed Medical Assistant will provide patient and caregiver support, manage care coordination, and assist with clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the first point of contact for patients and caregivers, responding to inquiries and providing education on programs and services
• Coordinate care by verifying insurance eligibility, supporting prior authorization processes, and facilitating communication among patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers
• Assist with appointment scheduling, maintain accurate documentation, and support quality improvement initiatives within the electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent healthcare experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, care coordination, or patient navigation roles
• Experience with electronic health records and healthcare technology platforms
• High level of proficiency with technology, including telehealth platforms and cloud-based software
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
