As a Workflow Systems Analyst within our Platform Services & Operations group, you will become a vital contributor to the team that powers these extraordinary experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard Development and Visualization: Design, build, and maintain advanced dashboards in Tableau that visualize key performance metrics, track progress toward organizational goals, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders at every level.
- Data Analysis and Insight Generation: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Translate raw data into meaningful insights that drive smarter decision-making across engineering and product teams.
- Workflow Profiling and Optimization: Profile complex systems and existing workflows, document current-state processes, and identify high-leverage areas for improvement, automation, or re-architecture.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Engage with partners across careerzynith—including Data Scientists, Engineers, Product Managers, and Leadership—to deliver insights, provide training, and champion the adoption of new workflow initiatives.
- Iterative Design and Continuous Improvement: Lead iterative dashboard design cycles—presenting prototypes to stakeholder groups, gathering structured feedback, and continuously refining end products to maximize clarity, usability, and impact.
- Analytics Maturity Advocacy: Apply and advocate for the Analytics Maturity Curve (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, Prescriptive) within the organization to evolve our analytics capabilities from reactive reporting to proactive, prescriptive guidance.
- Change Management and Influence: Act as a change agent—working directly with partner teams to translate analytical insight into tangible wins that improve engineering velocity, software quality, and operational efficiency.
- Reporting to Leadership: Develop key metrics, propose policy changes, and deliver comprehensive action plans to all tiers of leadership, ensuring alignment between analytics strategy and business objectives.
Essential Qualifications
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar analytics-focused role.
- Analytics Expertise: Solid working knowledge of analytics principles, including visualization best practices, statistical methods, and the Analytics Maturity Curve (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, Prescriptive).
- Insight Communication: Demonstrated ability to translate research and data into insight—developing key metrics, recommending policy changes, and delivering clear, compelling action plans to all levels of leadership.
- Advanced Tableau Development: Hands-on expertise as an advanced Tableau developer, including building complex visualizations, calculated fields, and interactive dashboards at scale.
- SQL Proficiency: Capable SQL user with strong skills in aggregation, nested queries, and data inspection/validation techniques.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

- Software Development Analytics: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DORA metrics, and LEAN software delivery principles—understanding how analytics can accelerate software engineering excellence.
- Software Development Background: Hands-on experience in software development environments, including understanding build pipelines, code merging processes, testing systems, and the delivery lifecycle of production code.
- Product Ownership: Demonstrated experience taking full ownership of key outcomes for projects, driving efforts independently, and generating concrete, measurable results through analytics.
