Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Quality Control Strategies and Guidelines Group, you will be responsible for analyzing data to identify trends and performance metrics, driving process improvements, and providing insightful recommendations to senior leadership. Your expertise will help us maintain low costs, modernize our operations, and improve compliance, ultimately giving us a competitive edge in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements
- Assist in creating and communicating results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders
- Help investigate critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide insightful reporting to enable senior leadership to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibility
- Presentation of insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to facilitate partner understanding
- Assist in creating and distributing specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and validating the need of the data requirements
- Identify irregularities in processes through audits/surveys and communicate findings to the team
- Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and errors
- Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision
- May perform other work duties as directed by the Team Leader
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's Degree and have a strong foundation in data analysis, problem-solving, and communication. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment, are also essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous internship, capstone projects, and research coursework are highly desirable, as is experience working in a related field. The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information, plan and support large business initiatives, and work independently with minimal supervision are also preferred.
