YOUR TOP RESPONSIBILITIES
• You will oversee the integrity, structure, and optimization of donor data within Virtuous to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
• You will partner with the Director of Development Operations to establish, document, and enforce data standards, governance policies, and workflows.
• You will support the Director of Development Operations and Philanthropy teams in developing data-informed strategies to improve donor retention, acquisition, and lifetime value.
• You will develop and maintain reports, queries, dashboards, and segmentation logic to support fundraising campaigns and donor services.
• You will design and implement automation workflows within Virtuous to improve operational efficiency and enhance donor journeys.
• You will analyze donor data to generate actionable insights related to donor retention, acquisition, forecasting, and overall fundraising performance.
• You will build and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide leadership and fundraising teams with visibility into key performance indicators, fundraising performance, and donor trends.
• You will write and optimize SQL queries and support data structures, reporting environments, and ETL processes to ensure accurate and reliable data movement.
• You will manage third-party data integrations and imports, ensuring data quality, consistency, and alignment with organizational data standards.
• You will serve as a training and support resource for staff using Virtuous to improve adoption, data accuracy, and effective system use.
Requirements:
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of experience working with a nonprofit CRM, preferably Virtuous.
• Demonstrated experience building dashboards, automations, and reports within CRM or analytics platforms.
• Proficiency working with data, including experience with relational databases and querying tools (SQL preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights that support fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and decision-making.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes, support data needs, and enhance system adoption.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Alignment with Phoenix Rescue Mission’s Christ-centered mission and values.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience working with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouse platforms.
• Experience working with Virtuous CRM or similar CRMs.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Experience with ETL processes and API integrations.
• Experience supporting fundraising, donor engagement, or development teams.
• Experience working with donor data, segmentation, and campaign performance analysis.
• Previous experience supporting Development, Donor Services, or Marketing teams in a nonprofit environment.
